Financial Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our organization, including maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and guidelines, and providing timely and accurate financial insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and BAS/IAS lodgements.
* Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger entries.
* Monitor budgets, forecasts, and expenditure across disability support programs.
* Ensure compliance with ATO, ASIC, and NDIS financial regulations.
* Assist auditors and management in preparing financial reports and documentation.
* Develop and implement internal financial controls and risk management procedures.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and the ability to handle confidential financial and client information with discretion.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA/CA qualification preferred).
* Minimum of 2-3 years of professional accounting experience.
* Experience in the disability or community services sector is desirable.
* Proficiency in MYOB, Xero, or QuickBooks accounting software.
* Knowledge of Australian tax, payroll, and superannuation regulations.
