Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage a team providing comprehensive HR support, resolving complex matters, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
About the Role
The successful applicant will:
* lead and manage a team to provide strategic HR support, including employment conditions, employee relations, and performance management.
* oversee the resolution of complex/high-risk matters and case management issues related to performance, attendance, and behavior.
* develop and prepare complex correspondence, briefs, and documentation in a timely manner for senior executives and external parties.
* provide specialist advice and assistance to staff, making informed decisions using sound judgment, expertise, and knowledge.
Requirements
The successful applicant will have:
* demonstrated experience in utilizing judgment and discretion to manage complex and sensitive HR matters.
* demonstrated experience leading a team managing complex people issues, with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
* experience working in a fast-paced environment within a government setting or similar industry.
