We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Health Safety Environment Coordinator.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving our ISO-certified systems and safety culture. They will be responsible for leading the implementation and improvement of our WHS, Environmental and Quality systems (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001), supporting project managers and site supervisors with SWMS, audits, inspections, and toolbox talks.
Maintaining compliance through our internal systems, directly managing inductions, and incident investigations are also essential aspects of this role. Additionally, the HSE Coordinator will coordinate emergency preparedness, including fire drills and high-risk rescue plans, ensuring we remain audit-ready and aligned with legislation.
Job Requirements:
* A strong background in WHS experience in construction, civil, or services-based trades is required.
* Knowledge of ISO standards and NSW WHS laws is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with tradies and clients alike, are essential.
* A proactive mindset, identifying risks before they become problems, is crucial for this role.
