We're recruiting an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join a leading $250M energy business based in Milton. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands‑on with budgets, forecasts, and management reporting, while also driving finance automation and improving processes within Dynamics 365 Finance.
About the Role
You'll support budgeting and forecasting cycles, deliver high‑quality management reporting, and help strengthen month‑end processes. You will also streamline workflows, improve financial controls, and enhance automation and data accuracy acrossDynamics 365 Finance.
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the responsibilities of the role will include,
* Deliver monthly management reporting, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
* Support month‑end processes including journals, reconciliations and financial accuracy checks
* Improve finance workflows, streamline processes and enhance internal controls
* Drive automation and efficiency improvements in Dynamics 365 Finance
* Analyse financial data, identify issues and develop practical solutions
* Partner with Finance, Systems Accounting and IT to support system enhancements
About You
The successful applicant will have/be a Senior Management Accountant who:
* Handles budgets, forecasts, and management reporting with confidence
* Has strong month‑end skills including journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis
* Has experience with Dynamics 365 Finance (or similar ERP systems)
* Enjoys cleaning up processes, improving efficiency, and driving automation
* Takes a practical, hands‑on approach with strong financial acumen
* Communicates clearly and collaborates well with Finance & Systems teams
