Details: Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified individuals for the role of Finance Specialist – ERP Program. This position will play a critical role in supporting the potential implementation of new Whole of Government Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the ACT Government.
This role acts as a bridge across ACT Government Directorates and Agencies between finance operations, technical system design, and program planning activities. The Finance Specialist will provide high‐level financial expertise and advice to support options analysis, requirements definition and future‐state design, ensuring consideration of legislative, policy and accounting requirements. Working as part of a cross directorate multidisciplinary program team led by Digital Canberra, the position will contribute to shaping a potential ERP solution that could strengthen financial controls and support modernised and streamlined finance processes across the ACT Government.
Eligibility/Other requirements:
Demonstrated high‐level experience in financial accounting and finance operations is essential, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple Directorates and Agencies. Significant experience contributing to complex change programs or enterprise financial system implementations is highly desirable. A degree with a major in accounting, finance or equivalent is highly desirable, as is membership of a professional Australian accounting body.
