About the role

We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Operations Manager who isn’t just about checking boxes but about leading with enthusiasm and empathy. We’re searching for a driven individual who can help us streamline daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to budget across all departments. The operations specialist should be comfortable communicating with people throughout the organisation, able to solve problems and improvise as needed, and adept at estimating and managing time for a variety of tasks.

This full-time position based in Mullumbimby, NSW will see you lead a team of skilled professionals to ensure the seamless and efficient delivery of products to our valued customers.


What you'll be doing


Operational efficiency

* Monitor and manage day-to-day operations across production, fulfillment, stock, distribution activities, quality assurance and staffing.
* Onboard and train new employees to ensure that they adhere to standard operating procedures.
* Report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary.
* Oversee the maintenance and optimisation of equipment and machinery to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
* Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of operational staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.


Customer and stockist management

* Manage customers and stockists including: order optimisation, customer enquiries.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
* Increase overall revenue and market share.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
* Utilize CRM software to manage client interactions and sales activities.
* Generate leads through various channels (e.g., networking, cold calling, online research).
* Qualify leads to ensure they are a good fit for the company's products/services.


What we're looking for

* Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior operations management role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
* Proven organisational skills, including time management.
* Proven record of sales growth.
* Experience in customer service, marketing, or a sales-related field.
* Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Self-sufficiency and an ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity digital applications and platforms.
* Strong commercial acumen and strategic planning capabilities.
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
