Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned mining professional to lead our pit services teams and oversee critical support functions at Mount Arthur South.
* Develop and implement safe, reliable, and cost-effective strategies for pit services delivery.
* Manage water systems, haul roads, and ancillary support functions to ensure operational efficiency.
* Plan and execute small-scale projects to support mining operations and drive business growth.
* Maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding safety, environmental management, and operational excellence.
* Collaborate with Production, Technical Services, and Maintenance teams to achieve shared objectives.
* Coach Supervisors and OCEs to enhance team performance and contribute to the growth of the organization.
* Monitor resourcing, labour, and equipment utilisation to optimise costs and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of short-term and long-term plans to meet operational requirements.
Supervise and guide subordinate staff in the execution of project tasks.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Roster & Location
5 days on / 2 days off roster with a monthly RDO. Our operation is situated five kilometres south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Valley, NSW.
