A customer service officer plays a vital role in any organisation.

Our client is seeking an individual who can handle various tasks, including reception cover, meeting and greeting clients, handling email and telephone based enquiries, managing appointments, processing medical claims, supporting medical professionals, and reporting as required.

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in customer service and administration, be able to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, and possess confidence in using MS Office Suite and overall systems.

We are particularly interested in candidates with NDIS experience and those who are comfortable completing both a police check and working with children's check.


About the Role

This full-time position is available to start immediately. The successful candidate will work on-site, Monday to Friday, and will be part of an established team.

The role involves a mix of administration and customer service tasks, providing a unique opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in both areas.


Key Responsibilities

* Reception cover: answering phone calls, responding to emails, and welcoming clients.
* Meeting and greeting clients: providing excellent customer service and addressing their needs.
* Email and telephone based enquiries: handling queries efficiently and effectively.
* Managing appointments: scheduling and confirming appointments with clients.
* Processing medical claims: dealing with medical claims and ensuring timely payment.
* Supporting medical professionals: assisting doctors and other medical staff with client needs and providing basic advice.
* Reporting: maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

* A solid background in customer service and administration.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Confidence in using MS Office Suite and overall systems.
* NDIS experience is highly regarded.
* Comfortable completing a police check and working with children's check.
