About the Opportunity:
An opportunity has arisen for a Lawyer or Senior Associate to join the firm's growing practice. This role will suit a strong litigator who enjoys complex problem solving, strategic disputes work and operating within highly sensitive and fast‐moving matters.
You will work closely with experienced practitioners on sophisticated disputes and investigations, often involving overlapping legal, commercial and regulatory issues. The matters are frequently high profile and require strong analytical capability, commercial judgement and the ability to navigate challenging factual and evidentiary scenarios.
The Role:
You will be involved in matters including:
* Fraud and misconduct investigations
* Financial crime and white collar matters
* Commercial litigation and complex disputes
* Regulatory and enforcement matters
* Asset tracing and recovery matters
* Disputes involving allegations of dishonesty, breach of duty and misconduct
* Working alongside specialist investigators, forensic experts and counsel
* Advising individuals and corporate clients through highly sensitive and reputationally significant matters
* Managing litigation strategy, evidence and stakeholder engagement across complex disputes
This is a role for someone who enjoys strategic litigation and advisory work, and who wants exposure to matters requiring a high level of intellectual engagement, judgement and commercial awareness.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
* Approximately 2+ years' PQE
* Strong litigation and disputes experience gained within a reputable private practice environment
* Excellent drafting, analytical and problem‐solving capability
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work through complex factual scenarios
* The ability to operate calmly and effectively within sensitive and high‐pressure matters
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* A genuine interest in investigations, fraud, misconduct and financial crime‐related matters
* Experience within commercial litigation, regulatory disputes, insolvency, white collar crime or investigations will be highly regarded.
