Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with a focus on equipment operation and preventative maintenance.
* Responsibilities:
* Repair and maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce the risk of equipment failure.
* Operate and maintain complex machinery and equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, and hydraulic systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements
* Proven experience in mechanical repair and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to troubleshoot complex problems.
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
* Mechanical trade certificate or equivalent experience.
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and steam processes.
* Familiarity with filling, seaming, and packaging equipment.
