What you’ll do
Selfwealth is expanding its focus on the Intermediary (B2B) segment to complement its Investor (B2C) strategies. Intermediaries include financial advisers, accountants, and aligned groups.
In this role you will devise and execute intermediary marketing plans while applying functional expertise to drive results, implement customer-specific marketing initiatives and evaluate the success of marketing initiatives by analysing key customer insights. You will be the important link between the sales and marketing team, working closely with both teams.
Key responsibilities
Strategy and planning:
* Own the intermediary client marketing programs and initiatives, translating business objectives into defined marketing goals, strategies, and tactics.
* Develop the intermediary marketing strategy based on detailed segmentation to identify areas of greatest impact.
* Devise and successfully execute an intermediary roadshow strategy. Similarly, research, document, and plan for Selfwealth’s participation in partner and industry professional development days and events.
* Create the intermediary “playbook”. This is a key communication tool that the sales team would use to articulate the Selfwealth offering to prospective intermediary partners.
* Execute on the delivery of the intermediary suite of collateral. This may include presentations, brochures, prospecting emails, phone scripts, advertising copy and design, sponsorship, and merchandise assets.
* Implement a distinct Intermediary brand variation, which may include briefing and working closely with designers.
Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement:
* Identify opportunities and work with team members to execute on marketing opportunities based on intermediary client segmentation analysis and market research and insights to drive engagement, retention, and new business opportunities.
* Collaboration with team members including marketing peers, product development, and sales to align plans and campaigns with broader business goals will be integral to your success.
* Consult with marketing and design colleagues to bring the Selfwealth Adviser website and LinkedIn pages to life and devise and execute targeted advertising and InMail outreach programs.
* Coordinate with external industry partner groups to support channel engagement and activation objectives.
* Work with the team to ensure engaging content is being delivered through the right channels.
Market Research and Trend Analysis:
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform channel engagement strategies.
* Support the team’s regular market research and analysis activities to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
Strong Industry Knowledge:
* Maintain and build on an existing strong knowledge of the intermediary business, the industry, and regulatory environment to enhance marketing effectiveness.

Success as Sales Enablement Marketing Manager is reflected in the development and execution of effective intermediary marketing strategies that drive engagement, retention, and new business opportunities. A well-executed roadshow and industry event strategy, along with a comprehensive intermediary “playbook” and collateral, will empower the sales team to clearly communicate the Selfwealth offering. Strong cross-functional collaboration ensures seamless execution, while ongoing market research informs innovative approaches. Success is ultimately measured by increased brand visibility and measurable growth from key marketing initiatives.
Experience
* Prior experience (ideally 5-7 years) leading and managing B2B marketing programs and initiatives through intermediary channels.
* Possess a broad knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly investing would be well regarded.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret and absorb data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
* Strong and confident stakeholder relationship builder and manager with an established track record of building relationships.
* Possess a keen eye for detail; you are organised, methodical, and considered in your approach to complex tasks.
* Are a collaborator and problem solver; you welcome a challenge.
* Tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, business or a related field is highly desirable.
