Job Description
As a Software Engineer (.NET), you will design, build, and support secure, scalable enterprise solutions across .NET, Oracle, and ESB integration environments. Working within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions and delivering high‑quality, well‑tested code.
You will work closely with product owners, project managers, testers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions, with a strong focus on enterprise and financial system integrations. The role involves maintaining reliable data exchanges, applying secure coding practices, and ensuring solutions meet organisational, regulatory, and compliance standards.
You will also take ownership of environment health and performance, leveraging Azure DevOps, monitoring and logging tools, and strong documentation practices. In addition to delivery, you will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, software development best practices, and the evolution of the technology roadmap, including evaluating modern tools and AI‑assisted development capabilities
Qualifications
You are an experienced .NET developer with a strong background in building and integrating enterprise applications. You are comfortable working in complex, regulated environments and enjoy collaborating across teams and service providers to deliver meaningful outcomes. You will bring:
* Proven experience with .NET and enterprise integration platforms such as Oracle ESB, APIM, and SQL Server Reporting Services
* Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services including App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Functions, Blob Storage, and Key Vault
* Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and release management
* Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Application Insights, Grafana, and OpsBridge
* Proficiency with Visual Studio, VS Code, Git, and SQL Server Management Studio
* Front‑end development experience using AngularJS and/or Blazor WASM
* Experience integrating with financial systems (e.g. BPoint, Powerboard) and working with ServiceNow
* Exposure to AI‑assisted development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or Copilot Studio (desirable)
You are a clear communicator who can translate business requirements into technical solutions, provide regular progress updates, and contribute constructively to code reviews and design discussions. You value clean, secure, and maintainable code, take documentation seriously, and are motivated to continuously improve how software is designed, built, and supported.
