Key Responsibilities
* Prepare fortnightly payment runs and monitor aged AP.
* Support supply chain and sales teams with vendor and customer onboarding.
* Prepare and post journal entries.
* Reconcile bank, credit card, and key balance sheet accounts.
* Analyse financial data to ensure accurate and timely month‐end reporting.
* Prepare audit schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
* Assist with half‐year and annual reporting requirements.
* Maintain accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the general ledger.
* Identify opportunities to optimise accounting processes and enhance internal controls.
* Partner with operational departments to provide financial insights supporting budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications
* Degree in Accounting or a related field.
* Progress toward CA or CPA accreditation.
* Experience in a similar accounting role within a commercial or professional services environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Experience with accounting software; SAP exposure viewed favourably.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
