Senior Support Worker – Community Connections

We're seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to lead and support our Programs in Traralgon. This role is ideal for a confident team leader within the Disability sector who is passionate about guiding, mentoring and upskilling staff.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience supporting disability support workers to understand and implement behaviour support plans, contribute to program development and drive positive outcomes aligned with participants goals
In this role you will provide hands on leadership, coach and development team capacity, and work directly alongside people with disability to build independence, confidence and meaningful outcomes.
Demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills are desired, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with participants, families, carers, and Allied Health professionals.
About the Role
As Senior Support Worker, you will:
* Support the Business Manager to ensure smooth site operations
* Support and mentor staff delivering community programs
* Work directly alongside supported employees
* Help plan and coordinate meaningful programs and outings
* Promote independence, skill-building, and social inclusion
* Ensure safe, high-quality clinical service delivery
* Act as a key point of support for the local team
* Assist with documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
You'll be a role model on the floor - balancing leadership, practical support, and strong relationships with participants and staff.

Essential:
* Cert III or IV in Disability / Individual Support (or higher)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid & CPR
* Working with Children Check
* Current driver's licence
