Key Responsibilities:
* Surface Preparation: Sand, clean, and grind surfaces before painting to ensure the highest quality finish.
* Painting Application: Use spray guns, brushes, or rollers to apply paint evenly, ensuring durability and meeting production deadlines.
* Quality Control: Verify that each painted item adheres to IRRITEK's quality standards.
* Equipment Maintenance: Maintain painting equipment and the workshop area, reporting any required repairs.
* Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) policies, utilizing personal protective equipment and following ventilation procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Technical Expertise: Proven experience with industrial painting techniques, safety protocols, and mechanical equipment.
* Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient in hand and power tools with an understanding of maintenance and workshop protocols.
* Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality in every aspect of the painting process.
* Licenses: A valid car license is required, with a forklift or crane license (or the willingness to obtain one) highly regarded.
