Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook Modern Australian dishes, using fresh, seasonal produce from our curated menu
Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and appealing presentation
Assist with stock management, ordering, and minimising food waste
Uphold strict food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness standards
Mentor and supervise junior kitchen staff and trainees
Collaborate with the Head Chef and management on menu innovation, specials, and customer experience
Qualifications
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Chef in a fast-paced café or restaurant workplace
Strong knowledge of Modern Australian cuisine and passion for fresh ingredients
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality standards
Creative, detail-oriented, and a genuine team player
