We are seeking a passionate, permanent full time Medical Receptionist/ Administrator to join our dynamic team, based within our Macquarie University Hospital clinic, Sydney. We ask you to provide high quality, accurate and efficient reception and administration services to the business that meet professional and company standards. Ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and visitors.
What you'll do:
- Acting as the first point of contact and greeting patients on arrival
- Making and managing patient appointments for numerous Specialists across multiple sites
- Collecting patient information, maintaining patient privacy and accurate data entry
- Completing administration including document scanning
- Managing a large volume of patient telephone enquiries
- Billing and receipting of accounts to patients, Medicare and DVA
- Liaising with Specialists, Nurses, Physiologists and peers
- Completing tasks as allocated by Practice Manager and or Site Leader
Who you are:
- Exceptional phone manner, excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task
- Ability to work autonomously and complete work within tight time frames
- Superior customer service and exceptional communication skills with the ability to work as an effective team member with flexibility to respond to fluctuating work flows
- Positive, enthusiastic and a genuine love of working in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism
- Proficient computer skills
- Flexibility to cover shifts across sites
- Healthcare experience preferred
