Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist.
The Financial Operations Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, performing day-to-day banking and investment functions, and providing support to ensure timely deadlines and deliverables are met.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accuracy and reliability of all cash balance records and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
* Carry out day-to-day banking transactions and manage investment-related processes, including processing EFT payments for payroll and accounts payable via an online banking platform.
* Assist the Financial Reporting team in meeting required timeframes and deliverables, and provide backup and assistance to other finance professionals when required.
* Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, prepare daily cash flow forecasts, and arrange transfers between accounts as needed.
* Retrieve agency files and forward them to relevant business units.
