About the roles:
Accounts Receivable Officer
Responsible for managing incoming payments, raising invoices, reconciling debtor accounts, and working with customers to resolve outstanding debts.
You'll ensure compliance with the City's policies and help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Accounts Payable Officer
Manage supplier payments, process invoices, and maintain payment schedules.
You'll be responsible for liaising with vendors, resolving payment issues, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and on time in line with Council procedures.
Finance Officer (Generalist)
A versatile role ideal for someone with experience in both accounts receivable and payable.
You'll be cross-trained to provide support across finance operations, ensuring smooth financial transactions and backing up both functions when needed.
About you:
We are looking for candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
You will have:
Experience in a finance or accounting role (local government experience desirable but not essential)Strong reconciliation and data entry skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesKnowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software systemsA current National Police ClearanceA WA "C" Class driver's licenceCompletion or progress towards a Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Finance will be highly regarded.
