Our people are our most important asset. With continued growth and demand, we are now seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our dynamic, quality-focused team at our modern bakery in Coburg North.
About the Role
This is a new full time position created due to significant and continued business growth. Reporting directly to the Head Pastry Chef, you will be part of a supportive team and contribute to producing consistent, high-quality pastries and sweets.
Key Duties (include but not limited to):
- Preparing and baking a range of pastries, including croissants, escargot, pain au chocolat, cruffins, cronuts, and donuts
- Making and baking cakes and sweets such as banana bread, muffins, brownies, and specialty items
- Shaping and finishing pastries with precision and consistency
- Following recipes and ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- General cleaning and maintaining bakery standards
About You
- Previous pastry experience in artisan or wholesale production
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and laminated doughs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Commitment to maintaining high quality and consistency
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
