Are you a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse in Anaesthetics looking for your next position? Looking for a role with flexible rostering options and multiple development opportunities?
Newcastle Private Hospital is seeking experienced Anaesthetic Registered Nurses to join our Perioperative Team on a Full-time basis, with Part-time hours or Casual work to be considered for the right applicant. This role will require availability for on-call participation.
As a Perioperative Registered Nurse – Anaesthetic your responsibilities will include:
* Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
* Deliver evidence-based nursing care
* Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
* Ensure patient and staff safety
* Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)
* Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
* Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology
Essential Criteria:
* Current Registration with AHPRA
* Minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in an acute perioperative environment as an Anaesthetic RN
* Valid NSW Working with Children check
* Availability for participation in the On-call roster
* Commitment to Quality Patient Care
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Works well independently and within a team
* Basic computer skills
