Accounts Manager | Westcourt, Cairns QLD | Part-time
Cairns Total Physio is a well-established, locally owned allied health group with multiple clinics across Far North Qld. From sports and workplace rehab through to NDIS and community care, the business continues to grow — and strong financial management is critical to that success.
We are now seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to be based at our Westcourt clinic, working closely with the Directors and Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
This is a hands-on, trusted role suited to someone who enjoys ownership, structure, and working within a professional healthcare environment.
About the Role
You will manage the full accounts function across the practice, including:
* Payroll, superannuation, leave processing, and award compliance
* Accounts receivable, debtor management, and reconciliations
* Basic financial reporting including P&L, cashflow, and balance sheets
* EFT processing and creditor management
* Compliance records, audits, and reporting
* Supporting onboarding of staff from a payroll and accounts perspective
* Maintaining financial dashboards and cashflow tracking
* Flexiblity - 28-30 hours per week, to be negotiated
You'll also contribute to improving systems and processes as the business continues to evolve.
About You
• Proven experience in an accounts or finance role (healthcare experience well regarded)
• Strong payroll and compliance knowledge
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident working with Directors, staff and stakeholders
• Professional, discreet, and reliable
• Strong systems skills (Excel essential; practice management software (e.g. Cliniko) an advantage)
