Male Disability Support Worker (Casual) – START ASAP
Location: Mona Vale, VIC (Highly recommended if you're in the nearby suburbs)
Client: 15‑year‑old male with ADHD, ODD, anxiety, ASD, depression
Job Type: Casual
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to provide 5 hours of support work. This is a casual position with regular shifts on any one day during the week for 5 hours, except Thursday (flexible). Hours may increase.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care and support with daily tasks.
* Encourage independence and enhance quality of life.
* Support participation in community activities, appointments, and social events.
* Bring an adventurous and fun spirit; interest in dirt bikes an added advantage.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent qualification (not mandatory).
* Previous experience in a support worker or caregiving role (preferred but not required).
* Valid Working with Children Check.
* Current Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
* NDIS screening check and completion of the NDIS orientation module.
* Current First Aid and CPR certification.
* Updated resume.
* Client requires someone young and able to act as a mentor to the participant.
