As a casual Assistant In Nursing (AIN), you'll work across a rotating roster on our General Ward, caring for both medical and surgical patients. Every shift brings variety, learning, and the opportunity to positively impact someone's hospital experience.

What You Will Be Doing
In this role, you'll be an important part of each patient's journey. You will:
* Support patients with personal care, mobility, and communication, helping them feel safe, respected, and comfortable.
* Work closely with Registered Nurses, learning from their experience and building your own clinical confidence.
* Assist with setting up procedures, preparing equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe care environment.
* Contribute to accurate documentation so every patient receives consistent, high-quality care.
* Deliver care that is safe, ethical, and aligned with hospital policies - knowing you're part of a system that protects both patients and staff.

About The Team
You'll be joining a supportive and welcoming nursing team at Muswellbrook Hospital. Our General Ward team includes experienced Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and AIN's who work closely together to deliver safe, compassionate care to the community. With guidance from Nurse Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators, and 24/7 Medical Officer support, you'll be part of a collaborative environment where learning is encouraged, teamwork is valued, and your contribution truly matters.
