Amentum's Opportunity for Electrical Engineer - Low Voltage Systems

The Role
This position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's Low-voltage, Audio-Visual (A/V) infrastructure and Security systems. You'll ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our data and systems while providing support for Low-voltage services.
Responsibilities:
* Develop & Design technical architecture solutions for emerging technologies.
* Supervise small teams on project deployments and other technical staff and provide technical assistance.
* Identify opportunities & provide technical solutions for functional problems.
* Prepare and present test plans, technical overviews and analysis.
* Collaborate with all teams to ensure a robust and repeatable solution.
* Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Document architecture and design of the implemented solution.
* Provide, present & support technical advice for external project integrators.
* Modify and design new systems to meet operational requirements.
* Create/update technical documentation and user manuals.
* Ensure, promote, and maintain health and safety practices/compliances at site and within the workplace.
Qualifications
We're looking for individuals with strong technical skills in both Low-voltage and Security systems. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent working experience, field: Electrical Engineering or relevant or related discipline.
Desirable Skills
Apart from the essential qualifications, desirable skills include electrical engineer skillset across Low-voltage and Security applications and systems, as well as current driver's license, CPR, White Card, Confined Space, Working at Heights, Forklift License, Elevated Work Platform, First Aid, PE License.
Minimum Essential Requirements
Minimum 3-7 years' experience in a relevant field, experience and knowledge with Electronic Access Control Security systems, experience with electronic access control hardware devices, experience with software applications and databases, demonstrated understanding of EHS procedures, and strong communication skills.
Work Environment
Our typical office environment has no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.
