This is a Permanent or Fixed Term Full Time appointment up to 80 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse to join the aged care team at Carnarvon Health Campus in the Midwest.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Clinical Nurse is to manage, coordinate and deliver competent nursing care for patients in the Residential Aged Care facility, using leadership and advanced nursing skills and knowledge relevant to the practice setting.
Takes a key leadership role in Residential Aged Care and Palliative service delivery initiative within the Carnarvon district boundaries.
Advanced nursing practice within the Residential, Aged and Palliative Care setting.
Advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making, within the Residential, Aged and Palliative Care setting.
Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills, oral and written communication skills and proven ability to build, lead and maintain relationship in a team environment.
Demonstrated understanding of continuous quality improvement programs and risk management within practice.
