The Role We're working with a well-established equipment business supporting civil and construction clients across Melbourne. Due to ongoing workload, they're looking to add an experienced field-based diesel mechanic to their service team. This role offers a mix of autonomy, variety and consistent work across customer sites. What You'll Be Doing Attending breakdowns and carrying out diagnostics in the field Servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance Fault finding across a range of mobile plant and equipment Managing your own jobs and daily schedule Liaising with customers onsite What You'll Need Diesel trade qualification (or strong hands-on experience) Background in earthmoving, civil, construction or heavy equipment Ability to work independently in a field service environment Strong work ethic and safety-focused mindset What's On Offer Permanent, long-term opportunity Competitive hourly rates overtime Monday to Friday work with optional OT Service vehicle and tooling provided Stable workload with ongoing support Interested?
