Greater autonomy to influence service quality and team culture Task & responsibilities Manage and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery and a positive customer experience. Recruit, train, roster, supervise, and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff in accordance with company procedures. Plan, develop, and update menus in consultation with the chef and business owners, considering customer preferences, seasonal availability, and cost control.
Manage purchasing, ordering, pricing, and inventory control of food, beverages, and supplies. Monitor staff performance, service standards, and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, budgets, and profit and loss (P&L).
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and workplace regulations. Liaise with customers to manage feedback and complaints and implement service improvements. Oversee reservations and support staff during peak service periods.
Qualification & experience Passion for Latin/Mexican culture Diploma or Bachelor's qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field (preferred). Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements. Minimum 2 years’ experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
