Your new role
- Manage day-to-day operational banking issues and contribute to broader banking projects and solutions.
- Draft and propose strategic solutions to business challenges, working independently and proactively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banking service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Keep leadership informed of workload, priorities, and progress across multiple initiatives.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and contribute to innovative ideas and concepts.
- Apply technical banking knowledge, including familiarity with banking platforms and middleware.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Interpret and analyse complex banking contracts to support decision-making.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience using SAP ERP systems is essential, and while the department is not seeking a financial accountant or technical financial analyst, strong Microsoft Suite skills (including Excel) and familiarity with banking systems are highly valued.
- Proven experience in banking operations, financial services, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organised with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
- Experience in project management, particularly managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Understanding of banking systems and platforms is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
