Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional who enjoys mentoring others, improving processes, and working in a high-performing Accounts team?
Trilogy Care – one of Australia's fastest-growing Home Care Package (HCP/) providers – is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Officer to play a key role in maintaining high-quality financial operations and supporting our mission to deliver exceptional care at home.
This is a hands-on senior role for someone who wants to stay close to the detail, strengthen team capability, and help drive continuous improvement.
Why Now & What You'll Do
As demand for aged care services continues to grow, we're strengthening our Accounts Payable capability to ensure accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across our finance function.
In this role you will:
* Support the accurate and timely processing of supplier payments in line with HCP/ guidelies and compliance standards
* Partner closely with the Team Leader – Accounts Payable to support daily operations and maintain strong financial controls
* Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to team members, building capability and consistency
* Investigate and resolve complex invoice discrepancies, supplier queries, and escalations
* Support audit preparation and maintain clear, compliant financial records
* Contribute to reporting on invoice volumes, processing performance, and compliance trends
* Identify and implement process improvements and system optimisation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
* Collaborate across Finance, Care, and Operations to deliver seamless service outcomes
You'll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity while helping elevate team performance -contributing to a purpose-driven organisation that values both people and progress.
What You'll Bring
* 5+ years' experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or community services.
* Strong knowledge of finance systems, invoice portals, and Excel (ERP (MYOB) experience highly regarded).
* A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset with attention to detail.
* Experience mentoring or supporting team members.
* Understanding of Home Care Package/Support at Home (HCP/) financial compliance (desirable).
* A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
