McIlwain are seeking a Site Engineer to assist in the successful execution of construction works on the Cunninghams Gap Reconstruction Project.
The project is located within the Scenic Rim region and is part of the Gondwana Rainforests World Heritage Area. Due to the location, McIlwain offer housing for those that would prefer to stay locally during the week as the works are run from Monday to Friday.
Duties:
Complete regular site visits to coordinate & liaise with inspectors, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers as necessary.
Source and review prices of job materials, measuring and ordering as required.
Maintain project quality and administration document control.
Raise & conform Lot's in a timely manner.
Develop and monitor short-term programmes.
Review project documentation and develop RFIs including close out.
Identify, assess and raise non-conformances.
Identification of variations and assistance in preparation of supporting information.
Skills & Experience:
BEng in Civil Engineering (minimum)
2+ years post graduate experience in civil construction
Experience in TMR Specifications highly desirable
