Financial Operations Assistant
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team in Bacchus Marsh. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the business.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
* Customer Invoicing and Accounts Receivable
* Month-End Functions, including asset finance amortisation entries, job costing journals, and clearing account reconciliations.
* Administrative Support, such as raising purchase orders when required.
* Maintaining Subcontractor Insurances and ensuring adherence to civil procurement processes.
* Monthly Updates, account reconciliations, and follow-up on outstanding items.
* Weekly STP Payroll Reconciliations and monthly reconciliations for Coinvest, Incolink, and superannuation accounts.
* Gaining an In-Depth Understanding of the company's products and processes.
* Acting as a Key Point of Contact for internal stakeholders regarding client and resource department queries.
* Assisting with the Creation and Implementation of quality procedures, workflows, and new software.
* Analyzing Job Costing Processes across all departments, civil project management, and contract administration.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Minimum 5 Years Experience in a finance administrative role within a medium to large corporate environment.
* Strong Accounting Knowledge, including payroll legislation, accounting principles, and standards.
* Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
* Ability to Adapt to Change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Organizational Skills, including setting priorities, managing multiple deadlines, and maintaining high accuracy when inputting financial data.
* Clear and Concise Communication Skills.
* Proven Ability to Work Independently and as part of a team to achieve outcomes.
* Pressure Management skills, including remaining calm and efficient when working under pressure.
* Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances.
* Quality Assurance Awareness across the project culture.
* Demonstrated Ability to Foster Positive Working Relationships at all levels.
* Previous Experience with Attache Software (preferred but not essential).
