Part-Time: ?? AHPRA Registered Only JC Assist is growing and we want you to help shape our new Allied Health & Psychology Department!
We’re on the lookout for a Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA registered) or Clinical Board Approved Supervisor to join our passionate and values-driven team. This casual or permanent part-time role is based out of our newly upgraded Lilydale clinic, with flexibility to provide services remotely or in the community. We would like to discuss starting casual and as case load builds move to permanent part time.
This is more than a job, it’s a chance to help build and shape our Allied Health department, work collaboratively across disciplines, and provide truly person-centred care to NDIS participants and the wider community. ?? What
You’ll Be Doing
* Providing psychological assessments, interventions, and tailored therapy supports
* Delivering services from our Lilydale clinic.
* Supporting clients with disabilities, trauma, psychosocial needs, and behavioural challenges
* Working collaboratively with our supportive admin team
* Contributing to client goal planning and therapeutic development
* Opportunity to hold supervisor sessions with provisional psychologists if Clinical Board Approved Supervisor.
? What We’re Looking For Essential:
* AHPRA registration
* Experience working with clients with disability, mental health challenges, or neurodiversity
* Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and therapeutic skills (e.g. CBT, ACT, trauma-informed)
* WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check
* Ability to work independently and manage a flexible client caseload
* Ability to work independently and manage a flexible provisional psychologists caseload
* Competence and confidence in diagnostic assessments (including WISC-V, WAIS-IV, Vineland 3, ABAS and autism assessment tools.)
* Ability to implement effective caseload management strategies
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to balance and deliver on case load requirements of the role.
* Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other professionals to enhance the supports provided to young people and their support networks.
* Computer literacy including proficiency in the use of Excel or Google workspace.
* Current Driver’s licence and ability to access own vehicle.
* Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a National Police check, International Police check (if required) a current Victorian
Working with Children Check (Employee), current Victorian Drivers Licence, and the right to work
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary teams
