About the Opportunity
This role provides quality, safe, person‐centred physiotherapy clinical care to an allocated caseload in Hospital in the Home (acute and sub‐acute) service with flexibility to assist in GEM/Inpatient Rehab Unit and other areas as required. Facilitates a holistic, multidisciplinary team approach.
Provides supervision and support to Grade1 physiotherapists, AHAs, and physiotherapy students. Assists with weekend/public holiday shifts as required. Opportunity to develop career in a supportive learning and supervision framework.
Responsibilities
* Deliver quality, evidence‐based, flexible, person‐centred physiotherapy clinical care in the designated caseload.
* Supervise and support Grade1 physiotherapists, AHAs, and physiotherapy students.
* Assist in Hospital in the Home, GEM/Inpatient Rehab Unit, and other areas as required.
* Participate in weekend and public holiday shifts as needed.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe care.
Qualifications & Experience
* AHPRA‐recognised degree in Physiotherapy.
* Full and unlimited AHPRA physiotherapy registration, and current Victorian (or equivalent) full driver's licence.
* Minimum two years broad and relevant clinical physiotherapy experience in a hospital setting (acute, sub‐acute, and care in the home) including supervision of Grade1 physiotherapists, AHAs, and physiotherapy students.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and time‐management skills.
* Compassionate, flexible, positive approach to effective patient care and management.
* Willingness to participate in weekend/public holiday shifts.
Required Proof of Compliance
* Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
* Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccinations consistent with public health orders.
