**About this Opportunity**:
This newly created position, with the purpose of contributing to effective planning and delivery of events for LLL, ensuring LLL's strong connection to their continues to be told across Australia.
As the Events Coordinator, you will report directly to the Marketing Manager whilst also reporting and providing support to the Chief Relationship Officer (CRelO), aiding in the effective delivery of LLL's strategy and marketing objectives. The Events Coordinator plays an integral part of LLL's Relationship team, and wider business by being the face of LLL to drive, plan, coordinate and deliver events from start to finish across Lutheran communities both locally and interstate - continuing to tell LLL's story and spread their message. Whilst primary responsibility is to oversee the planning and delivery of events; this role will also provide administrative and secretarial support to the CRelO. The capacity of this is to organise travel, logistics, diary management and attend events with the CRelO to capture and identify opportunities to build new relationships and continue to build on new and existing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Crucial to this role is your ability to adapt to various, fast-paced environments and exceptional skills in planning, managing, and delivering projects and events of various sizes. You should have experience in public speaking and script writing, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
This role requires experience in event planning or project management and will utilise your ability to problem solve, strong administrative background, aptitude, high attention to detail, organisation, time management, and interpersonal skills.
**Core Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Planning, overseeing, and implementing all facets, from start to finish, of LLL scaled promotions and public gatherings, including coordination and overlay of visitations, relationships, sponsorships, and event schedules for yourself and LLL staff
- Travel and attendance of events, representing LLL and Lutheran Tract Mission (LTM) in person, including spoken and collateral representation
- Research and engagement of vendors, ensuring the highest standard combination of quality and cost to meet LLL's branding style and event objectives
- Booking of venues, travel, accommodation, and scheduling of speakers, and development of detailed agendas for all required staff
- Implementation of systems to record event data, which will be used for event marketing and planning, including research activity to audit and inform future event decisions
- Provide administrative support to the Relationship Team and CRelO across all facets as required
**About you**:
You will be a natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
**In addition, you will have**:
- 2+ years experience in events, project management or a similar role is essential
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering events of various sizes is essential
- Experience with public speaking and script writing will be highly regarded
- Strong administration and client relations background
- Advanced computer literacy
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Please note, state and interstate travel is essential within this function and will be required to achieve the responsibilities and tasks of this role.
