Key Responsibilities
* Contribute across all phases of Avanade projects using both traditional waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
* Lead and assist with pre‐sales engagements, meeting tight timelines.
* Leverage technical expertise to architect, design, and implement D365 CE, Power Platform, and AI solutions; also be hands‐on with Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform.
* Liaise effectively between clients, IT staff, and business partners to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
* Assess client requirements and scope and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Design conceptual and technical architectures.
* Ensure project quality meets high technical standards.
* Partner with cross‐functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent, positive client interaction and solution delivery.
* Support the team in defining technical, non‐functional, and operational requirements.
* Oversee the timely and effective resolution of client issues.
* Work under general guidance and direction, but be fully independent in own work with latitude for autonomous decision‐making related to work process.
* Travel as needed based on pre‐sales and project demands.
Qualifications
Microsoft D365 CE and Power Platform Solution Architect at Avanade. Lead delivery engagements, providing expert services to solutions and deliver large complex deals that span multiple technologies and offerings, including AI. Serve as a technology leader within the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform community and routinely share knowledge on bleeding edge topics in community and internal events.
Skills & Experiences
* Familiar with core Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform, and Microsoft AI offerings and an understanding of the wider Microsoft ecosystem including Azure, Data, Security, and Modern Workplace.
* Consulting experience working with external clients.
* Pre‐sales experience, especially solutioning based on high‐level or ambiguous requirements and a good understanding of pricing strategies.
* Experience with product demonstrations and presentations.
* Client‐management skills and the ability to work with clients to develop and manage an action plan.
* Implementation experience across multiple industries: Health and Public Sector, Resources, Utilities, Retail, Logistics, Communications and Media, Insurance, Professional Services, and Finance.
* Experience working with global/offshore teams on CRM technology implementation and maintenance projects desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Technical Characteristics Desired for This Role
* Architecting large complex solutions using the Microsoft Stack.
* Experience in Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform (Power Pages, Copilot Studio, Canvas and Model Driven Apps, Power Automate), and Dataverse.
* Understanding of common industry standard business practices supported by Dynamics 365 CE.
* Experience in configuration and customisation of Dynamics 365 CE (PowerFx, Plugins, JavaScript, Logic Apps, Azure Functions), and Web API.
* DevOps with Dynamics 365 CE for requirements management and ALM (CI/CD).
* Experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
* Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
Desirable Certifications
* PL‐600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
* AI‐900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
* AZ‐900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
* Australian citizenship is required, and candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance. (Existing security clearance is preferred but not mandatory)
* The role is open to Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne candidates.
* Willingness to travel interstate if required for project requirements.
