We are seeking a motivated Engineering & Asset Coordinator to lead the coordination of engineering and asset management activities across the City. This role plays a key part in ensuring our infrastructure planning, asset data systems, and capital works programs are integrated, efficient, and future focused.

Working closely with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership that supports informed decision-making and sustainable infrastructure outcomes for our rapidly growing community.

The Role

* Coordinate the City's engineering and asset management activities, ensuring an integrated approach to infrastructure planning, renewal and maintenance.
* Provide expert technical advice on engineering, asset systems and infrastructure matters across the organisation.
* Lead and support engineering and asset management staff to deliver high-quality and compliant outcomes.
* Oversee the development and integrity of asset data systems, including GIS and enterprise asset management platforms.
* Contribute to long-term infrastructure planning, asset strategies and capital works programs.

Key Responsibilities

* Drive improvements in the City's asset management systems, processes and data quality.
* Coordinate infrastructure design, investigations and project delivery with internal teams and contractors.
* Analyse asset data to support long-term renewal planning and capital works programs.
* Oversee contract management, tender preparation and project budgets.
* Provide technical input into development proposals and ensure compliance with Council standards.

About You

* Degree in Engineering, Asset Management or a related discipline.
* Strong experience in asset management and infrastructure planning, ideally within Local Government.
* Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to guide and support technical teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using asset management systems and GIS.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
