Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 2/1 FIFO Planner to join our team on a major remote civil infrastructure project in NSW. This role is responsible for planning/scheduling, project control services, advice and support for the site project team to ensure optimum production and cost outcomes are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of detailed construction tender programs for the defined scope of works and development of basis of schedule.
* Preparation of Construction Programmes and weekly programme updates.
* Update manning and materials schedules and histograms.
* Liaise with the Project team to establish baseline program.
* Assist Construction team in planning daily, weekly, monthly reports including dashboards, variance reports, Earned Value and Commodity S Curves & charts.
* Perform delay analysis and extension of time assessments for commercial team and offer guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
* Perform critical path analysis.
* Assist the Commercial Manager in the preparation of delay and variation claims, ensuring these are clearly understood between the parties, documented and managed in line with contract requirements.
About You
* Min. 5yrs post grad Planning experience with a contractor on civil infrastructure projects.
* Bachelor Degree in Civil, Commerce, Construction Management or similar (postgraduate qualifications also advantageous).
* On site FIFO or DIDO experience.
* Proficient in all aspects of Primavera Planning tools (P6)- A Must.
* SharePoint and Advanced MS Office skills - Highly regarded.
* Excellent commercial Acumen and self-starter.
