As we continue to grow our direct-to-consumer, retail, and e-commerce presence, we’re looking for a results-driven Digital Advertising Consultant to join our team and play a key role in scaling our digital advertising strategy.
Role Overview - 1 Year Contract, with option to extend | Hybrid Chatswood NSW 
The Advertising Consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising paid advertising campaigns across social, search, and e-commerce platforms, as well as emerging channels. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced agency professional ready to move in-house, bringing best practices, innovation, and performance-driven thinking directly to Murad brand-side.
You’ll work closely with the team to develop full-funnel paid strategies that drive awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy & Planning
o Develop and implement paid media strategies across digital channels.
o Translate brand and business objectives into measurable advertising goals (awareness, acquisition, retention, ROI).
o Recommend channel mix, budget allocations, and campaign structures for maximum performance, providing strategic suggestions to positively impact our revenue.
• Campaign Execution & Optimisation
o Continuously monitor performance, analyse results, and optimise for KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, etc.) across all digital channels.
o Build, launch, and manage campaigns across multiple platforms.
o Conduct A/B tests on creative, copy, audiences, and bidding strategies to drive incremental gains.
o Stay on top of algorithm changes, platform innovations, and competitor benchmarks.
• Creative Collaboration
o Partner with internal creative and content teams to brief ad assets that resonate with target audiences.
o Ensure campaigns align with Murad’s brand voice, clinical positioning, and visual identity.
o Champion platform-native creative strategies, particularly for TikTok, Amazon, and other emerging channels.
• Analytics & Reporting
o Deliver actionable insights and recommendations through regular performance reports.
o Track budget pacing, spend efficiency, and campaign ROI.
o Use platform analytics tools and dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness and to make strategic choices for future investment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Collaborate with global/regional teams to ensure consistency while tailoring strategies for the local market.
Qualifications & Experience
• 4–6+ years of hands-on digital advertising experience, ideally in an agency environment, managing multiple brands and verticals.
• Strong track record of managing and optimising campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and Amazon Advertising.
• An ability to balance big-picture strategy and hands-on execution.
• Data-driven mindset with deep knowledge of paid media KPIs, testing frameworks, and attribution models.
• Proficiency in Ads Manager platforms and Excel/Sheets for reporting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present results clearly.
• Passion for beauty, wellness, or consumer brands is highly desirable.
