Electrical Technician Role
We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an essential member of our Chlor Alkali Plant, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Fault finding and day-to-day maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring regular safety testing is carried out
* Developing, reviewing, and carrying out high voltage isolations
* Liaising with suppliers to establish and order electrical equipment as required
* Ensuring compliance with hazardous area requirements onsite
* Completing all documentation related to maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner
The successful candidate will possess:
* A current WA A Grade Electrical Licence
* A Certificate IV in Instrumentation (highly desirable)
* Qualifications in Hazardous Areas and HV Switching (desirable)
* Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
* The capability to work independently within a close-knit team
* A high level of professionalism and commitment to quality work
