About the Role

• Assist clients at home with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Support clients to stay independent by helping them go out for shopping, appointments, and community activities.
• Communicate any client concerns or feedback to the care team to ensure quality service.
• Maintain client privacy and dignity, and encourage the same among team members and contractors.
• Report consumer risks to management, including inappropriate behaviours or actions not aligned to our values.
• Attend regular scheduled training to maintain your level of skill.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

• Located to the West of Devonport including Burnie or surrounding areas and able to travel within the region.
• Completed Certificate III in aged care, individual support, or above.
• Current valid Level II First Aid Certificate.
• Experience working in the aged care sector or with elderly people is advantageous.
• Current Australian Driver's licence and access to a registered vehicle with insurance.
