Job Description
As a Tunnel Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of Melbourne's most iconic project, the North East Link Central Package.
This project involves the development of three-lane twin tunnels and key interchanges. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that these infrastructure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
You will work closely with our engineering team to develop and manage daily cost reporting, provide on-site engineering support, monitor key construction requirements, and implement prompt corrective action if required.
Additionally, you will assist with material procurement and daily coordination for tunnel FRP works, write method statements, risk assessments, and prepare site records.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural or Mining Engineering and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
Specific experience of tunnel FRP works is highly desirable. You must be able to work effectively as part of a team, communicate complex ideas simply, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.
