About the role:
We're seeking a passionate History and Geography Teacher to join a leading independent K-12 school in Sydney's South West. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative, student-focused environment that values innovation and professional growth. Teachers experienced across all HSIE subjects are encouraged to apply.
Key Duties:
- Planning and delivery of engaging and effective lessons that cater to a diverse range of students.
- Assess student progress and apply strategies to support improvement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
- Stay current with developments in HSIE education and integrate innovative practices and technologies.
Skills & Experience:
- Hold a recognised secondary teaching qualification with History and Geography teaching eligibility
- Proven teaching experience within NSW schools
- Current and valid NESA registration
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check for employment
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Able to provide two professional references from an educational setting
Offering:
- Teaching History and Geography to Years 7-12
- Term 3 2025 commencement
