This is a full-time on-site role for a Fire Technician located in Sydney, NSW. The Fire Technician will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire extinguishers, life safety systems, and fire suppression systems. Daily tasks will also include ensuring compliance with fire safety standards, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to fire safety equipment, and conducting safety training sessions.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in handling Fire Extinguishers and Fire Safety
* Experience in routine testing of fire extinguishers, fire hosereels fire hydrants
* Experience in testing emergency and exit lighting
* Experience with Life Safety and Fire Suppression Systems
* Strong Troubleshooting skills with a focus on fire safety equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively on-site
* Relevant certifications in fire safety or related fields
* Previous experience in a fire safety technician role is a plus
