Optometrist – Gosford
Join our team of dedicated professionals at Specsavers Gosford. As an Optometrist, you will provide comprehensive eye care services in a well‑established two‑test room store, working with patients primarily aged 40–70, as well as an increasing number of adolescent patients.
Responsibilities
* Deliver eye examinations and visual assessments, including OCT scans, visual fields, and non‑contact tonometry.
* Collaborate with a team of three experienced optometrists to manage routine care and co‑managed complex cases.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage treatment plans using integrated software systems.
* Participate in community outreach and support initiatives in partnership with the Fred Hollows Foundation.
* Engage in continuous professional development through MyCPD and the annual Clinics Conference.
Qualifications
* Registered Optometrist with relevant qualifications and permits.
* Experience in clinical eye care, ideally within a retail or community setting.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Commitment to lifelong learning and adherence to professional standards.
Work Details
* Salary Package: Up to $115k + Super (Pro Rata).
* Roster: Part‑time with scheduled Monday and Saturday shifts.
* Location: Gosford, New South Wales.
* Employment Type: Full‑time (permanent) role with part‑time roster.
