We are currently seeking the following teachers for commencement in Term 1, 2024:
1. Mainstream class teacher – upper primary
2. Classroom DOTT provider
3. Intensive English Centre class teacher

You should also be committed to putting students first in your decision making and undertake the hard work that is inherent in adhering to a whole school approach. You will ideally deliver motivating and quality education programs and believe that exemplary, evidence-based teaching practices lead to successful students and high standards of achievement.
Your teaching will ideally prioritise the reflective use of data and embed differentiation to support all students. Nollamara uses Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI) teaching strategies and ongoing formative assessment to provide feedback to students, measure student progress, differentiate teaching and plan next steps in learning. It is an expectation that teachers participate in both instructional and behavioural coaching. Successful applicants with high knowledge and skills in these areas may have the opportunity to join the internal coaching team. The ideal applicant will have knowledge and experience in our whole-school programs for Literacy and Numeracy, including Sounds-Write, Heggerty, 7 Steps for Writing Success, PR1ME Mathematics, and knowledge of language acquisition and the English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) Progress Map. Applicants with a strong knowledge of interventions and planning for students at educational risk would be highly desirable.
