Randstad HR Partners is partnering with an Australian digital household name for a Senior Instructional Designer to drive capability uplift enterprise‑wide. This role reports to the Director of Learning and Capability (part of the P&C; team). This is a high‑visibility, autonomous role where you will be driving the end‑to‑end design and delivery of contemporary learning experiences, initially focused on high‑priority P&C; and Compliance topics. The project includes translating complex regulatory, policy, and process changes into clear, engaging content to support adoption and capability uplift across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Translate regulatory, policy, and process changes into clear, accessible, and engaging learning experiences using instructional design best practices.
- Create a variety of learning materials including e‑learning modules, facilitator guides, quick reference tools, info‑graphics, and assessments.
- Develop accessible, fit‑for‑purpose, and role‑specific learning modules using contemporary learning design practices.
- Partner with change teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build micro‑learning and performance support tools.
- Work independently and demonstrate a hands‑on approach, managing constant reprioritisation and multiple balls in the air.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Extensive instructional design experience, with the maturity and resilience to operate at a senior level within a complex, large organisation.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and drive delivery and outcomes in a rapid‑paced environment.
- Strong capability and knowledge in contemporary learning design, with a broader depth of experience.
- Experience working within a regulated environment (e.g., Financial Services, Insurance) is highly advantageous, given the compliance focus.
- A focus on delivery and outcome, with the ability to handle constant change and shift regularly.

Qualifications: Ideally a bachelor’s degree in HR and/or business equivalents, qualifications in Industrial Design and/or Learning and Development, and 5–8 years of minimum work experience.
