VHD Studio are an award-winning building & interior design company. Our capabilities include Education facilities, Commercial buildings, Industrial Design & Multi Residential Projects. Our team are based in Toowoomba and have a second office in Brisbane, allowing us to deliver designs throughout South Queensland.
The Role
To manage all phases of the design project from initial client interaction / design through to the delivery of completed construction documentation, including;
* Client Management & Schematic Design
* Developing Schematic Designs to meet the clients brief with constant feedback to ensure efficiency
* Design Documentation
* Develop Building Design documentation for a project to allow it to be constructed
* produce detailed finishes and fixtures schedules to support the design documentation package
* Design Management
* Manage the Coordination of other consultants required to complete the project
* Assist in the development of design packages to support the lodgement of applications for Statutory Approvals
About You
* Qualifications
* Minimum 6 years' experience as a Building & Interior Designer / Architectural Draftsperson
* Skills & Experience
* Ability to use design software including Autodesk Revit at a high level
* Skilled at interpreting architectural plans and technical documents
* Current knowledge of BCA/NCC, industry Legislation, Codes and Standards
* Strong organisational skills including the ability to manage your own time within tight timeframes
* Microsoft Office proficiency at a high level
