Job Description:
We are seeking a driven Media Sales Director to take responsibility and accountability for the performance and management of our sales office.
In this role, you will manage a team, drive revenue, and maintain and grow the client base. You will report directly to the State Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of daily operations and guide a passionate sales team to success while delivering revenue and share targets.
* Develop and execute insight-led business plans, managing campaigns, and push best-in-market performance with a strong focus on NPS growth.
* Strengthen relationships with clients, agencies, and partners.
* Create tailored engagement plans, drive exceptional service.
* Provide insightful weekly reports and market updates to leadership teams.
* Communicate clearly and consistently with your team and stakeholders and foster a high-performance, inclusive environment.
Requirements:
* Driven, proactive, and collaborative with a deep passion for media, TV, and digital.
* Strong interpersonal skills and value delivering outcomes that focus on achieving targets and client satisfaction.
* Prior experience in sales (ideally media).
* Exceptional commercial acumen with a strong history of building client partnerships.
* Proven leadership skills with an ability to build and develop a cohesive sales team.
* Strong network in the area will be highly regarded.
