Job Title:
Data Protection Specialist
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Protection Specialist to join their team. This role will involve developing and implementing effective data management frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with Defence and Commonwealth standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and maintain data management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and traceability across technical, engineering, and logistics domains.
* Manage structured and unstructured data throughout the system lifecycle.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise data governance and utilisation.
* Support the establishment and maintenance of secure, accessible data repositories.
Requirements:
1. Tertiary qualifications in Data Management or a related field.
2. 3–5 years' experience in data management within Defence or a highly regulated technical environment.
3. Sound understanding of Defence data standards and artefacts.
4. Proficient in data governance, lifecycle management, and configuration control.
